Polynesian Style Home Build Challenge

This is the second challenge here and we are on the edge our seats to see what the contestants will come up with. Below is some information on this style of home. One suggestion would be to do a google search and you'll likely find many house plans to help you be unique with this style. Good luck and most of all have fun! :give roses:

You will be allowed to use CC for roofing and siding for this contest since the thatch roofing and such are not available in game or in any stuff packs. Richdre provided a link to some textures for these types of homes on the forum. Just be sure to state where you got the items and provide links to them so they can be downloaded by others.

Entries will be accepted July 1, 2011 through July 31, 2011.

You can take a look at this link (Somoan Houses) for some historical reference and of course google this style of home. There are a huge amount of styles for this yet they are similar. Take a look at some of the sites for the modern Polynesian Home builders and you'll see some gorgeous homes. Good Luck and have fun!
